Leah was a 3rd wife and has 7 children. She escaped after she was told her children were going to be taken from her because she was unworthy. She had no idea what she had done wrong and knew the only way to keep her family together was to quietly sneak away in the night. That is where her real journey began!
With no education, no means to care for her children, she reached out to Holding Out HELP. She was granted a transitional home. She enrolled her children in public school for the first time EVER and began her GED through Holding Out HELP. She received her GED and now has a job and is living on her own.
The beautiful part of this story is they give back to Holding Out HELP every chance they get.
