Holding Out H.E.L.P. was established in 2008 as a charitable organization to assist families whose lives have been affected by polygamy through a network of volunteers, state agencies and individual donors. Ultimately, we strive to increase the self-sufficiency and the dignity that everyone deserves. We have gone from serving just over 60 people in 2009 to over 250 men, women and children with the assistance needed to change their lives. We have many more reaching out to HOH for support, love, encouragement and resources. In 2012 we anticipate an exponential amount of growth as the events and leadership of the FLDS in Colorado City continue to experience upheaval. It is more important than ever that we have a successful fundraiser/awareness night.Our primary fundraiser is this Annual Benefit Dinner & Silent Auction. Your tax deductible donation will help meet the budget for this year to provide food, clothing, shelter, access to counseling and legal services, and all other costs necessary to meet the needs of these families whose lives have been affected by polygamy.
